Ebay worth it to sell 3 items?

Hi all!

I haven't sold anything on ebay in forever and I know changes have occurred since then. I have three Lego Educational kits which aren't sold anymore so I really don't have a sense as to how much they're worth so I thought about selling them on ebay. But it looks daunting.

Is ebay relatively easy to use? Or should I just bag it and try to sell them another way?

No they're life science kits - DNA, Chromosomes, and Photosynthesis. I have a student kit for each topic.

I don't know anything about the items you are selling, so can't help you there. You can do an advanced search and include items that have sold recently.

They are having a sale right now....you do not pay any insertion fees, so you only pay if the item sells. So I figure, what do you have to lose. Just make sure you include enough for shipping and keep in mind you give ebay 9% of selling price. I believe the sale is through August.

You can also try craigslist....free!

Thanks for the reminder about the recently sold auctions. I did check and it didn't seem to be much traffic. Perhaps I need to find a lego-wanted site or a teacher-resale site.

If you can wait a little longer on selling them, it might be better to list them around late October when people are searching for Christmas presents.

have you checked out Craigslist? Couldn't hurt to post them and see if you get any acceptable nibbles...they can hang around there while you investigate other avenues -- and its free!
