Ebay users need help??

Here's the deal. I see a few coach purses I would like to bid on Ebay. Now I've never used Ebay before and I'm extremely nervous. Is this legitimate or a scam. I need all the help I can get. I've heard how popular EBay is. Have you ever won a bid on Ebay? Were you pleased or disappointed? Any advice is greatly appreciated?

I buy and sell on eBay. It's not a scam, millions and millions of people buy and sell every day. There are transactions that go bad from time to time. When it comes to designer purses, be careful. Many fakes are sold on eBay. Make sure the seller has plenty of good feedback before bidding. Out of over hundred purchaes on ebay, I've only been unhappy with one. It was on a pair of Steve Madden shoes listed as new, never been worn. When I got them one shoe was new, the other was a tester that was dirty. Good feedback is a good indicator that you can bid with confidence.

There are real and fakes on Ebay. Until you get it, it's not really possible to tell what you are getting. If you want discounted Coach item, I would look for a Coach store in an outlet mall. They have some pretty good deals, especially during sales.

Another thing I've noticed recently are some Ebay stores popping up? What are they? Is this a place for people to put there ads on Ebay?

Are you talking about places like the iSold It! stores? These are places where people can take things they want to sell, and the store will list them on ebay for you. They charge a commision for doing so. Honestly I'm not sure why people use them because selling on ebay is easy as pie.

I use ebay all the time to buy and sell. I have to agree - there are millions of transactions a day that go well. Out of the ones I have participated in buying something, only one was not as advertised and, because it was a very expensive item, I pushed the guy hard for a refund which he sent. Out of the hundreds of items I have sold, I only had one problem and it was beyond my control and the guy got a full refund and still left me negative feedback.

However, that being said, I have heard that many, many fake purses are sold on ebay as real. As a previous poster said, if you must have the Coach, find it on sale locally so you know it is real. If you feel you really need to buy it on ebay, check the seller's feedback and also carefully read their return policies, if they have one.

This may be a dumb question, but how can you tell if its fake? I've been looking at the coach purses on Ebay with the price tags still attached.

What if it's a new seller? I guess that you'd just have to take a chance but how do people get established on e-bay?
