eBay ??? Should I try to sell winter items?

Just wondering what you more seasoned eBayers think about me trying to sell some winter clothing, mainly mine (plus size) and my DS's (boy 5-7). I came across a number of things that are too big for me now and are too small for DS to fit into anymore. Plus I had to buy him a new pair of snow boots since the ones I just got him (from Lands' End) are too small.

Do you think I should bother with listing now or keep everything until next year?

Also, when is a good time to start selling spring items and then summer items?

I think it is way too late. You might sell them, but not for much. You would be better off waiting until September, which is still good timing for your and your trip!

Thanks! I may try to investigate and see if anyone if selling something similar and what it went for. I really hate to clutter up the basement with more boxes.

Spring and Summer is now and February. A good rule of thumb with eBay is to stay AHEAD of the stores.

When I lost weight last Spring, I put my too-big capris, shorts, and jeans on e-bay at the end of May through the middle of June. I sold everything for more than double what I expected. I did sell a lot of name brands like Old Navy so I know that might be a big part of it.

It's a great way to make that extra spending money!

I sold snowpants just last week, so you never know. (Kids, Columbia brand) Shipped them off to a buyer in Minnesota........... I already sold 2 1st Communion dresses, and that is a season ahead.

When does Halloween season begin? Early Sept?
