Can someone please help me? I'm confused. I have 73 items listed right now. I know that I can print labels at the end through ebay/paypal, but if I don't use priority or express mail, it will cost .20 each. I have downloaded the shipping assistant and it seems easy enough, but do you have to type each individual address into the SA or can you import those from somewhere, and if so, how? Also, if you use SA, will it print out postage for you, or do you have to take it to the post office or use some other service for that.
I'm trying to avoid paying any additional fees and dealing with any more steps.
Can anyone enlighten me as to what the best complete shipping process is.

I have not yet figured out a way to import any data into the SA.

You cannot put the postage on thru SA. You can however, get your labels fully printed and be eligible for the .13 delivery confirmation. (Free on PM & ExprMail).

Thru the regular USPS website you can print the postage paid labels for the Priority items.

Thanks jgates. Now just to figure out if it's gonna be worth the extra work to type everything out and then send everything priority, or if I should just bite the bullet and print a label through ebay/paypal. I really would like to avoid going to the post office with a truck load full of stuff if I can.
Thanks for your help!

Remember you may not be sending all 73 at once to the PO. Some may not sell, so you may need to relist. Some you may have to wait for payment, etc..

I've been typing each individual label out for SA. It works fine for me.

Well, you can copy and paste from the e-mail you get from Paypal, or if your buyer e-mails their shipping info to you and then sends a check or MO. If you purchase a Priority Mail label through Paypal, there are no extra fees, only on 1st Class, Media Mail, etc. But in exchange, you get free Delivery Confirmation. I put Delivery Confirmation on every package this way. No one has claimed not to have gotten their package in a long time!

I use the PO site when I just want to print a label with free Delivery Confirmation, but not prepay the post. ie, when I have to add insurance at the PO. You can't do that on the web site. But copy and paste works there too.

If I can catch my mailman, I give him the packages with prepaid postage. Otherwise, I just take them to the PO and put them on a counter.

For me, instead of trying to ship through Seller's Assistant, it's much easier to go to "View My Ebay Selling" underneath, it says "back to basics" (on the bottom right hand side of My Ebay). The buyer's address is there, & of course, my address is there....All I have to do is enter the shipping date, weight & mail class.

If you click on "View Ebay Selling - Back To Basics" It will bring up a list that includes "Items I need to ship"

From there. you click on the auction & at the top there is a "print lables" button or a "view payment status" button.

When you click on the "print label" button, it automatically takes you to Paypal to print the label. All of the shipping info is in there.

When you click the "view payment" button, it will take you to a page that has "Print Shipping Label" at the top.

I hope this helps, let me know if you have any questions :)

Is that way described in the past post the .20 fee?

I'd rather print for free via SA! Unless, of course, thier are some instances when I use the hidden postage via the .20 printing fee.
