Ebay: Seller to Dh "commit suicide"!

Thanks for the advice everybody!

We still cannot figure out his screen name. I logged in with my user name, but I can't see it either! We can see his first and last name when we log into Paypal.

Thankfully he has not sent any more nasty e-mails.

Funny thing is, I checked the feedback he has given others, and about 20% of it was NEGATIVE! It's strange that he so frequently gives other sellers negative feedback but freaks out over a neutral himself

Must be the Lindsay Lohan disease: "It's not MY fault. I don't know why other people are doing this."

I totally understand that feedback is serious,as I use eBay as well. However no matter the ramifications of negative and in this case neutral feedback, it is not an excuse to tell someone to "commit suicide."

Without a doubt. However, that's what happens, sometimes, with eBay, and much more often, in my experience, than, say, at Amazon.com, or at Best Buy. That's why I avoid eBay.

That is why I feel that they take it waay to seriously, because at the end of the day the person truly will not die if they get a neutral feedback from a person they will never meet.

I seriously doubt if the person who wrote that actually thought someone would kill themselves over this. Rather, they just wanted to strike out at someone who they feel had done them wrong (writing neutral feedback) and they did so in the only way they knew how. As someone else mentioned earlier, the sellers are at a disadvantage at eBay these days, and so there is really nothing significant that they can do to remedy (what they consider) an unfair posting of feedback.

The seller should have taken the feedback rating which was not a negative and called it a night.

Yes, of course, but that's not always the way it works out, with some eBay sellers.
