ebay question

I have someone who bought an item 2 weeks ago and has not paid. What do I do? I have sent them invoices and emails with no reply from them. Is this when you do the second chance offer thing? Do I leave them negative feedback?

1. Start the non-paying bidder process with eBay.
2. You can no longer leave negative feedback as a seller.
3. If the non-paying bidder process doesn't work with the winning bidder, offer to the second highest bidder.

You're welcome. Sometimes the NPB alert will get the winning bidder to pay (maybe something happened and they haven't had access to a computer). There is a limited period of time to do that and get your Final value fees credited back.

Hopefully, this will work or the second bidder will agree to buy

You can have the non paying thing kick in at a certain amount of days for future listings. I finally did this after having a higher incidence than normal of non payers and it seems to help. Ebay automaticaly sends them a thing and starts the case, then if they don't pay they have a bad mark on their account, and my fees are returned.

This has been happening to me a lot lately. Once you start the non paying bidder process they usually pay quickly. Either way you get paid or get your money back.

careful! i had this happen finally sent her an email saying pay OR respond and let me know that she did intend to pay within 2 days or i'll relist item and file a non paying bidder alert (you can't do negative feed back as a seller anymore... totally wrong but thats the new ebay). She finally paid (she got 120$ worth of product for 25$ i lost at least 100$ when shipping was counted but hay that's ebay). So I thought nothing of it sent the package next day. Next time i log into ebay (don't use it much) my feedback is down to 92% the woman gave me a negative and said I DEMANDED she pay or else... i did nothing of the sort and i tried to have the feedback revised, she refused, then sent me a nasty email, so i outlined why she was full of it in reply... crazy lady apologizes and offers to remove the negative feed back... but she already denied the request for feedback revision and you can only request it once so I'm SOL and have a terrible ebay rating for the next year not even worth selling anything....

so in the future i will just file a non paying bidder after the time is up and skip the pleasantries because i shot myself in the foot....

I recently had a NPB too. I sent her a friendly note saying if payment was received I would be relisting the item. Sure enough she sent payment but after I had relisted the item and gave me neutral feedback saying I sent her a nasty letter. Nothing I said was nasty to her. My auction also stated payment within 24 hours. Then I did send her a note saying I am blocking her from my auctions.

Another person bought my item but contacted me in private via email to say he didn't want the item and offered to pay me for my trouble. You are not supposed to take money outside of ebay. I opened a case and closed the auction I had with him. I don't know why but ebay allows you to leave feedback then.

I don't know what is wrong with people these days. If you don't have money for something, DON'T BID!
