EBAY question...

I was just wondering -- has anybody here ever bid and won something that they weren't particularly looking for?
When I was doing my princess dress fabric search, I put in a ridiculously low (I thought) bid on a silk sari. Well now -- low and behold, I am now awaiting the delivery of 7 yards of what looks like royal blue paisley silk -- way too pretty to cut up and use for sewing. Maybe, I'll use it in place of curtains in my bedroom -- I dunno...
Fez shopping aside, anybody else have a similar experience?

I was a sucker for Fisher Price Little People....Lord help me, evrytime I went to Ebay..I'd tell myself I was just "looking"...two weeks later I had a Castle, a King, a Queen...a merry Go round...among others.

I tell myself my grand children will adore playing with them because I bought them when my kids were teenagers...
