Ebay Question--BIN?

Question for the expert ebay sellers...I list items for the first time in auction style with a Buy It Now. In the past, I never offered the BIN option. Many end tonight and a few have had the BIN option taken off. How does this happen? Is it based on the number of bids? The bids have not gone over the BIN price. Thanks for your help!

Once you get a bid, the BIN is no longer available.

I have lots of auctions with bids but the BIN is still showing. One item has 12 bids but still the BIN is there????

No. I didn't place a reserve.

for some types of auctions like clothing the bid price has to be at least 1/2 the bin price and then the bin price will disappear.
