Ebay....nothing but frustration

For the second time in about three weeks, someone other than myself changed my password. This is actually the third time it's happened.

What's the point of having all these security questions when it is apparently so freaking easy to surpass them? Plus, trying to straighten the mess out requires the patience of a saint. Their "live chat" equates to a 45 minute wait (believe me...I know what I'm talking about).

I've had it. Ebay is more frustrating than it's worth. Once I straighten out the mess, I'm closing my PayPal account. It's my understanding that ebay and Paypal are the same company, and if Paypal's security is as horrible as ebay's, then I'm getting out before they give away that info as well.

Not to sound dumb...but are you sure your password was actually changed?

I used to get email messages all the time (sometimes two or three a week) that someone had changed my password, but it was spam and my account was just fine.

Nope, not just an email...it was actually changed by a third party. I contacted Ebay through their chat last night, and they said that hackers can routinely 'grab' keystrokes made on your own computer. It's likely it was done when I logged into my account while I was at work.
