I have 2 of the same t-shirt, same size. When listing them on eBay as an auction, is there a way to put them in the same listing or is it better to just list them separately, or wait until later to list the 2nd one?

You can't sell 2 of the same thing in an auction - you can sell 2 in the fixed price format.

You can sell two items in the same listing. If you have two identical items, list one item, when the auction ends, you can then offer the second highest bidder the opportunity to "buy it now" at their highest bid using second chance.
