eBay Gift Certificate

Anyone have any experience with eBay gift certificates?

I want to purchase one for my DBro. His wife is the eBayer and the account (ebay; paypal, email) is in her name. Can I still purchase a gift certificate in his name and he can use it with her account on ebay? For example, he sees something he wants, has her bid and win??? I wasn't sure by the FAQs for ebay.

I have experience w/eBay, but not eBay gift certificates, but take a look at this site on ebay regarding eBay Gift Certificates.

As mentioned, you'll have to sign up with paypal at www.paypal.com, and notification will go to the person's email address. That person will then have access via paypal to pay for ebay purchases. I'm sure somewhere along the way when you are purchasing the gift certificate, you'll be able to state your brother's name as the intended recipient.
