Off to DLRP soon and have been trying to find out more about Fastpasses available on EBay. As I am a cautious soul and do not wish to contravene any Park rules etc, does anyone know please:

Do they really work/are they genuine?

Can you use them on a repeat basis throughout the day?

Are there any days (e.g. a peak day) when they will not work?

Thanks :dance3:

Hi, I've read of other Disers using them on their trips and I've bought some myself, so I hope they do work. I can't see why they wouldn't! Apparently you can use your old park tickets if you've been before.

we bought some and have used them for a few trips several times a day and they've been fine

I'll let you know after next weekend ;) I bought them coz a few on here have bought before and they've worked ok. So, fingers crossed mine will too. I guess just check the feedback of the seller as well.

Thanks for the reply Mummyal.

May I ask what did you actually receive from the Ebay seller? Was it an old/used DLRP Pass/Entrance Ticket or was it some other form of pass/ticket that the Fastpass machine will accept (e.g. was it a mock up pass/ticket with an electronic strip on it that the Faspass machine 'reads').

I remain a bit sceptical (but I am like that - especially as I innocently suffered a fraud using the Ebay site which took forever to resolve !) - I would have thought Disney's system would prevent this sort of thing ?

I would take a pic of the tickets for you but my battery's run out at the moment. Basically, it's a white card/ticket (it looks brand new and genuine but I don't know really), with a Fastpass logo on it (and Donald Duck running off on one side of the logo) and with the DLRP logo at the bottom. On the other side is the black strip with a few sentences in French below it, one of which I can work out and it says "not valid for admission". The seller was from France. I remember reading somewhere (probably in the description on ebay lol) that only Cast Members are given these kind of passes?! I don't know.

I'm usually sceptical as well when it comes to things like this but as we're going next week, the crowds are going to be mad and I'm going to need all the 'fastpass' help I can get lol... and as it "only" cost me £10, I thought it would be worth taking the risk for once. The guy had good feedback as well with comments like "worked a treat" etc etc. He isn't selling any at the moment though.

When we were there in summer I noticed that these Fastpasses are given out at the entrance to people who have printed their tickets at home - perhaps the home printed ticket will not work in the FP machine, as I assume it will be paper. :confused3 Anyway - that seems to be what their original purpose is. The CM at the main gate had a large bundle of them in his hand. I assume they find their way onto ebay in such large quantities because a CM is selling them on.

I bought mine of a UK ebay seller - just gone to look for them now and realised I have no idea where they are! But the description above is pretty accurate - they were crisp white and brand new and worked a treat. I got 8 and think they worked out about £2.20 each so I thought we'd give it a shot.

i used some in august and was worried but they where a great help got us a few extra rides along the way:banana:
