Ebay Cancelled my Listing!!

I had two D23 Pins on Ebay that they removed this morning saying I took another listing photo and description.

Only problem, I didnt!! my photo was from the rewards site I bought the pins on (Same as the other person selling) and my description was unique...

Have you ever had this happen to you?? I have emailed them twice and they do not respond.

I don't think you will get a response via Email..isn't there a telephone number to call? I sold a D23 pin from Disney Rewards on Ebay and never had an issue, I think I got the picture off the Pinpics site and credited them for the pic.

Ive never had it happen to me I would call eBay and find out whats going on.

Hmmm ... it sounds like the other seller reported you. I would CALL eBay and tell them that the pictures are from the same source but that neither one of you own the photo. Or ... you can just take your own photo instead of using someone else's photo.

I tried called the one number I found but it lists different places on their website to go, no actual help.

I posted it again and again it was taken down. This time I not only re-downloaded the image from DMR (and credited them in the text) but I changed the name two if that was part of the problem.

Now they are saying they will shut down my account.

I am almost 100% sure it is the other seller.

I did get a response but I accidentally sent it from my non-ebay email so they were like we don't recognize this email. I have since sent in a much longer email from the right account.

It is so frustrating because they don't even ask you for a defense. They just end the auction and threaten you....

I will update as I hear anything!

You have two options here. (1) You can fight the other seller through eBay as it's obvious that the photo is not their intellectual property either or (2) Take your own photo and be done with it. I personally hate stock photos as they don't show me the actual item.

I would have NEVER suggested that you do what you did. It was obvious that the other seller was out to get you and you were just trying to skirt the issue and not address it directly.

Thanks!! I did several seraches and didnt find any good numbers.

I took photos, crappy ones, and relisted. I also reported his photo. I hate doing something so petty but I really had no other options.

UWcorry1 is my ebay name.

The photo I have is the ones I took. Again, i cannot figure out how to get my camera to take good photos.

UPDATE:
I got a message from another seller asking about mine getting taken down. His was too!! We both know what seller is still up.. ecto216 is his name.
