EBAY- busiest week of the year? UGH

I hear ya on the slow sells. I am a powerseller also, but I won't be one for long if sales don't pick up. I had a great November, one of my highest ever but December is less than a third of that. I've decided to give myself a break til after new years. Its not worth the listing fees right now. From what I understand in reading the Powersellers board, this is normal this time of year, so close to the holidays. Unless you have a "must have" item that is hard to find but in high demand, you're better off riding it out for awhile!

We've had an excellant season. Our items are new, personalized and used for gifts. If our past January's are any indication, we are planning for a big January too! Here it is, 4 days til Christmas, and we are still selling and shipping.

So, how do sales generally go after Christmas. Do you sellers see a big drop in sales? If you do, when do they pick back up?

My sales weren't too great this week, but I was selling Christmas decoration type items, so I'm sure that is why.

I just don't know when to start putting my normal items back up for sale. I don't want to put them up for auction during a time that is normally slow.
