
Unfortunately, you're just out the money. Then, if you do list again, you're charged the fee again; only that fee is reimbursed if you sell the item. I don't see the problem with waiting to the last minute to bid. Why should I get in a bidding war and bring the price up 2 days before it is over? The best way to get the best deal is to wait till the last minute.
