Ebates?

Can you use Ebates to order on line and pick it up in a store?

I placed an order last night with Home Depot for in-store pick up. I haven't received an email from Ebates yet but the order went through and we picked it up.

I checked Ebates today and it isn't showing as a pending transaction yet.

Yes, I did that as recently as 2 weeks ago. I can't recall how long it took for the credit to appear though.

I do it all of the time! The closest Best Buy to my home is in Delaware (no sales tax!). I order things for in-store pick up all of the time and still get credit for online shopping on ebates.

If you don't want to wait on the cash back from ebates, just tell them what the ebates "discount" is and they will just take it off your order..i.e., 5% cash back through ebates, ask for a 5% discount off your order in store instead of going through ebates online and waiting for the cash back. Have done this at Lowe's and Home Depot.

I tried this at Lowe's two months ago when purchasing a dishwasher, but they wouldn't do it
