eBates Question...

I used it for the first time yesterday to buy stuff during Disney Store.com's sale. I understand the money won't be posted right away, but shouldn't it at least be "pending" or something? When will something show up on my account?

I haven't purchased through ebates in a while (I "converted" to mypoints.com) but if I recall, the credits did sometimes take a day or 2 to show up. I did have problems once or twice, and I emailed customer service and got my ebates fairly soon after.

Mine usually show up when the items have shipped. Love eBates, I've never had any missed credits and my paypal is deposited on time each quarter.

ebates will also send you an email confirmation of your purchase in a few days

I ordered things yesterday and I got an email this evening from Ebates with the pending amounts.

I think it just depends on the company you made the purchase with. I had one purchase post within 24 hours and I had another take over a week before I saw anything on my ebates account.

Can I ask why you like mypoints over ebates? I opened a mypoints account not too long ago, but I am more used to ebates.

I am not the PP but I use both Ebates and Mypoints depending on whoever has the higher point reward. One reason I may choose a Mypoints over Ebates is because Mypoints will not void your earning if you use a promo code whereas you can only use the promo codes if any that are directly listed on Ebates.

the disneystore.com codes are rarely listed on ebates but I get my rebates for every transaction with ebates so YMMV depending on the store
