Ebates Cash back & bonus

For those of you who use ebates, can you share your experience with receiving cash back and the sign up bonus gift card?

I recently received a check for under $3, less than a month after a purchase. I also did not receive the $10 new user gift card, even though it says in my account that I am approved for one.

Just curious if this is the norm? According to their help section, I shouldn't have received the rebate check yet (didn't reach the $5 minimum and it's not quarterly payout time), not that I'm complaining. And I couldn't find any more info about how/when the bonus gift card would be sent out. Not too much information on the website. Just not sure what to expect in the future.

I got mine a couple weeks after my first bonus check I think. I know it came later because I emailed CS about it worried that I wasn't getting it.

That sounds strange to me that you got a $3 check. They send out checks quarterly (I think it is quarterly) and won't send out checks for under $5.

When I signed up I selected which gift card I wanted but never got one. I think you might have to make a purchase within a certain amount of time after signing up to get it, I'm not sure.

That is really weird you got a check...are you sure it is a real Ebates check, and that it is the correct amount that is showing in your account on their web page? I would probably contact them just to be sure they just made a mistake.

I use it for hotels, and they send it out quarterly. Never had a problem. I love it.

I have used ebates for about six months now. I am due a check for $18 in August. I received my $10 gift card after I made my first purchase. We buy a lot on line and do the same day pick up in store if it's available.

My first check was for $2.45. I would rather them send it out quarterly; I hate going to the bank because it's so inconvenient, especially for $3.

Yep, it was a real ebates check for $2.97, the same amount listed in my account after my first purchase. I was surprised it was sent out b/c it was only a few weeks since I joined ebates, plus I had other rewards pending. Weird. I'm not going to complain about someone sending me a check , but would prefer to let the small amounts accumulate. Thanks for your input.

Love ebates! When I signed up it was a $10 bonus into your account so can't help you with the gift card. I happen to look last night and have gotten $318 since I started. I can't believe it is that much for stuff I would have bought anyways!
