Is she only at Chef Mickey's? Eating with her is VERY important to my older DD, so I am trying to figure out where we can find her. I have heard varying opinions on Chef Mickey's. We will probably be staying ASMovie, POP or POFQ, so I am trying to stick to restaurants in the Parks or closeby (like a Monorail hotel).

Minnie is also at Cape May Cafe for breakfast. We ate there the last time we went there...the food was really good and the character interaction was great! We were able to see Minnie 3x before we were finished with breakfast.

I would probably go with Cape May and you can go on a HS or Epcot day if you are trying to figure out travel.

Had breakfast with Minnie last month at Cape May Cafe - wonderful!

We love Cape May bfast :thumbsup2-all characters in beach attire. Food is great and characters are very laid back.

As pp said-we usually go on our HS day and take a boat ride to Beach Club or you can walk through international gateway to World Showcase in Epcot.

We do Cape May also. We usually stay at the BC but if we didn't, I would book it for my DHS day and take the bus to DHS and then walk over.

You can take the boat and if it's really hot out, I would recommend the boat as there is no shade on the walk. However, it's generally faster to walk the path to the Boardwalk from DHS than it is to wait and ride the boat.

The character interaction at Cape May breakfast is the best of the character meals we have done.

Do they start the boat rides pretty early? Could we do the breakfast and then make rope drop, or is a better late start kind of thing?

The boats start running early enough.

We caught the boat from Beach Club to Hollywood Studios last month & made it to the Studios in time for rope drop. We got out to the boat dock about 8:30 or 8:35. We were cutting it close. As we approached, a boat was pulling away. By the time another came, we barely made it to rope drop due to having a long bag-check line to wait in at the Studios.

I would suggest an early breakfast, & be on the boat dock at/by 8:30am in order to get to 9am park opening. I wanted to walk, but the rest of my party didn't. Walking over would've been faster...we've done it before.

We also love Cape May Cafe, but we enjoy Chef Mickey's as well. If Chef Mickey's works better for you, don't NOT go there because of the reviews.

If you choose Cape May Cafe, and you want to go early (for example 7 or 7:30), the boats/buses may not be running. Not to metion, getting from your resort to DHS and then walking/boating to BC will take a bit of time. If you eat early, I suggest a cab to the Beach Club, then you can walk/boat to the park of your choice.
