Never really thought about having this as a WDW goal but read on another post that a fellow dis'er wants to do this. I guess I also assumed I would skip the restaurants that didn't really appeal to me but she got me wondering if I shouldn't try this.

So who has done it or is trying to do it? Was it worth it to "waste" a dinner at a restaurant that you really didn't think you'd like? Were you pleasantly surprised?

And, what is your fav restaurant in the WS that you just can't skip each trip?

Just curious to hear what people think..... Thanks! :sunny:

We're trying to get to a majority of Disney restaurants in general, WS restaurants included. We realized the other day that we've been to more than we thought. We haven't been to Italy, Tempura Kiku, or Bistro de Paris, and haven't been to Restaurant Akershus, but will be going in about a week with DBf's parents. Either Italy or Tempura is next on the list, depending on what mood we're in. I'm not sure if we'll ever go to the Bistro, as I don't eat beef or seafood, and it really limits my choices.

Our favorites have been Le Cellier (favorite overall), Chefs de France, and the Rose and Crown Dining Room. We won't go back to Teppanyaki or San Angel Inn - those I feel are a waste. I can get better teppan dining and much better Mexican food close to home for much less.

We've been pleasantly surprised at the Rose and Crown, not that we expected it to be bad, but we were surprised at how much we enjoyed it.

We had this as a goal although we have taken our time because we like certain restarants and just keep going to them as well. Our last restaurant in WS was Biergarten which we went to in December. We enjoyed it very much as we have with all of the WS restaurants. We celebrated as we thought this was our last restaurant.......and then I heard about Tempura Kiku!!!!! We eat at Teppanyaki a lot and I always wondered why tempura wasn't on the menu:) So we ate there in March....loved it ...We did all the restaurants YEAH!!!!!!!!.....and then I remembered Bistro de Paris:( Not sure we will ever do this restaurant as it seems too formal for the kids but you never know...They have been to California Grill, Flying Fish, Artist Point etc. We have tried most of the restaurants in Disney but still have a few more to go. We even went off property for the first time and went to Bahama Breeze and Landrys and enjoyed them very much too.

I always make it a point to try new restaurants, hotels and do something different on each trip. We come to Disney a lot and I don't want it to get old. We love Disneyworld :teeth:

Forgot to add that my personal favorite is Chef de France. The kids enjoy Teppanyaki and Tempura Kiku the most, and DH enjoys LeCellier. We all like Rose and Crown too. I'm glad we tried all the different restaurants. Not a waste at all. It is really fun!:earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsgirl: ::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes::

We have eaten at all the restaurants in WS..our favorites...well, all of them, except Rose and Crown (food is very bland), Le Cellier second least favorite (we like appetizers and dessert here).

Other than that we have eaten at all the others numerous times and love them all. It is hard to decide where when we are there..lol.

We've eaten at all the WS restaurants that appeal to us (and some that didn't!). In a couple weeks we'll be down for a weekend, and one night we're planning on "noshing around the World. We figure we'll start around 4:00 with a quick stop for Cheese Soup in Canada, then works our way around, stopping at each country for something to eat and/or drink...ending with Churro's in Mexico!

We have eaten at alot of them. All but Biergarten, Bistro de Paris, and Japan.

We are going to go to Biergarten on our next trip.

My favs so far are Marrakesh and Les Chefs de France. The appetizers and desserts are sooo good at these 2 places.

We try to do one new one each trip.

We've done most of them. We've not eaten at Alfredo's, the Chinese sit-down or Bistro de Paris. My favorite is probably Marrakesh, kids would vote for Teppanyaki and dh would go for Akershus under the old set-up.

We've eaten at Mexico counter and sit down, Germany counter and sit down, Teppanyaki, Tangeriene Cafe, French pastery shop.

I'm not interested in Norway (just doesn't appeal to me), & I feel like I can get Chinese food anywhere, so there's no great pull for us to eat there.

I'd really like to try Marakesh, Le Cellier, and France sit down( can't think of the name...Le Chef's whatever....LOL)

My family LOVED Teppanyaki and my dh and I were impressed with the quality of the food at Tangeriene!

One of our family's favorite thing to do for dinner is to "eat our way through EPCOT." Everyone is able to get something they like and we always have a taste of one another's food. We've gotten sushi in Japan, lamb in Morocco, tacos in Mexico, burger/fries in USA, egg rolls in China, not to mention great desserts (and beer/margaritas for my husband and me). It's a lot of fun - you just have to make sure that you don't overeat!!
