whats the best place to eat or thing to snack on at the around the world in epcot ????

On our last trip in November we tried Nine Dragons Resturaunt in China and it was amazing!!! Now we are home, we don't even like to eat at the Chinese places here, they just aren't as good....we were spoiled there....YUMMY YUMMY.......the spring rolls were the best!!!! Oh I can't wait to go in May so I can have a spring roll!!!!!! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

I have eaten at san angel in, nine dragons, le cellier, alfredo's in italy, france, and japan. have not been disappointed with any of them, just whatever we were in the mood for :D

Mexico - Wet Burrito
Norway - School Bread
China - Lo Mein
Germany - Brat with kraut
Italy - Canolli or Tiramisu
US - Turkey Leg or Funnel Cake
Morroco - Meditteranean Wrap
France - Napoleon
UK - Fish and Chips w/ Guinness or Snake Bite
Canada - I would say beaver tails but there gone

well that sure gives me a bit to go on..thanks so much....

Over the summer I ate twice in the UK at the Rose and Crown restaurant (living in London myself perhaps that was a bit silly :D ).

Have to say it was an excellent meal - I had salmon once and then fish and chips. The atmosphere in the restaurant and pub are great - reminded me of home. If you don't fancy a sit down meal you can get fish and chips to take away - go down to Hyde Park round the corner, grab a seat (or sit on the grass) and watch the Beatles while eating.

I loved the Beirgarten buffet in the Germany section of the World Showcase.

My Favorites:
Chedder Cheese Soup at Le Cellier in Canada
Salad w/Ginger Dressing at Yakatori House in Japan
Anything from Tempura Kiku in Japan
Combo Plate at Cantina San Angel in Mexico
Tabbouleh Wrap at Tangerine Cafe in Morrocco
Morroccan Coffee & Dessert Sampler at Marrakesh in Morrocco
Anything & a Frozen Cap at Boulangerie in France
Sweet Almond Pretzel at Kringla og Bakeri in Norway

Best Yet - Noshing around the World at Food & Wine Festival!

I would recommend San Angel Inn and Rose and Crown (fish and chips- yum!). Also don't miss the bakery in France. It's tucked in the back but it has outstanding pastries.

The funnel cakes near the US pavillion are great too!

This October I hope to visit Le Cellier and the restaurant in China.

October is the Food and Wine Festival in EPCOT as well and it's very good. In addition to the countries that have pavillions in EPCOT, other countries also have booths with native food. My DH and I had a ball eating and drinking our way around the World Showcase. In the end you will spend as much as you would on a three course dinner (maybe more), but you get a nice variety of food and wine. It was 2 years ago that I went, but I still remember how good the food at the Mexico booth was!

Sweet pretzels in Norway
Churros in Mexico
Couscous in Morroco
Turkey leg in USA

No wonder I'm dieting!

Akershus in Norway has a terrific lunch, and the Matsu No Ma lounge in Japan is the absolute best hideaway spot in Epcot. Duck in for some gyoza (little dumplings) sushi, and some sake or a Kirin beer. San Angel Inn is a standout, and it seems that it's always easier to get a table in Morrocco than anywhere else- which is nice, since the restaurant there is such a nice surprise.

My favorite dinner spot in Epcot, though, is the Coral Reef at the Living Seas. Ask for a table next to the tank.
