I'll be at DHS 10/9 where the park closes at 8pm. I have a 50s prime time res for 7:45, and I've seen a scifi res for 8:15. When you have a res close to or after park closing, how much more time is there to eat? Do they rush you out of there? How late do the shops close and do how long do shuttles operate after park closing?

Yes the shops stay open, they still want your money :) Closing time just means you can't get into a ride line past that time. There will still be people waiting in line that entered before 8, still people eating, and still people funneling out. The shops will stay open at least an hour past closing I believe. I have never had that late an ADR so I am not sure if you will feel rushed, but I doubt they would rush you unless 2 hours later you were finished eating and chatting at the table still.

Busses usually run until an hour or more after park closing as well. If you run into trouble, you could always walk down to the YC/BC or BWI resorts and take their resort busses to DTD. You can catch another bus back to your resort from there and DTD is open much later.

1. When you have a res close to or after park closing, how much more time is there to eat?

2. Do they rush you out of there?

3. How late do the shops close and do

4. how long do shuttles operate after park closing?

1. You'll be fine, enjoy your dinners.

2. They won't rush you. We often have dining reservations close to a park's closing time.

3. Stores stay open about an hour after closing.

4. You won't be stranded. Disney will make sure you get back to your resort. If you are extremely late the bus routes may be consolidated or you might be bused to DTD where buses run until 1 or 2 AM. You can also ask security/CMs at the gate to call you a taxi. Finally, you can walk from DHS to the Epcot resorts where there will be buses to DTD and taxis readily available.
