Okay, I know you're out there - EPCOT - people who start at Mexico or Canada and eat at every country!

We started it last year and got to some of the countries, but this year we are determined to eat at every country. So I'm wondering what you usually eat when you EAT AROUND THE WORLD!!

I would be interested to hear this as well. We've tried and failed miserably, usually making it from Canada to France and then giving up.

Here's what we did on our last visit.
We decided to eat or DRINK something from each country. It would be too much eating other wise.

We started in
Mexico - shared tacos, and each got a margarita! (Nice start)
Norway - Fruit tart from the bakery
China - small order of chicken to share
Germany - I think we missed this country
Italy- Italian margaritas, and tiramisu
America - nothing, why eat here? you can have it all the time
Japan - pre packages candy
Morocco - Baklava ! my favorite
France - Gran Marnier Orange Slush
UK - sat down for fish and chips
Canada - I can't remember what we got here, if anything

Last time we went we had

Mexico - tacos w/spanish rice
Germany - Bratwurst served with sauerkraut
France - pastries - double chocolate cake
UK - fish & chips

This year we're hoping to hit every country, but I'm still waiting to see what people sample from each country for ideas.

We had:
Canada - couldn't find anything here
UK - fish and chips
France - veggie quiche, wine
Morocco - combination plate
Japan- beef curry
America -water
Italy- canolli
Germany - bratwurst on a bun with saurkraut, beer
China - red bean ice cream
Norway - school bread from the bakery
Mexico - nachos
It was fun. We did it once spontaneously and the next time we had planned it in advance. The first time was the most fun!
Enjoy
Tip :We just ordered one or two items at each place and shared amongst 4 or 5 people.

OOH! My family lives for this!! We start with Mexico right at 10AM, and we usually only order one or two things and split it between the four of us:
Mexico -- churros
Norway--Kringla Sweet Pretzel (we actually skip this and come back for them during Illuminations)
China--Beef Noodle Soup Bowl
Germany--Bratwurst & saurkraut
Italy-- one Torta di Ciocalata and one Tiramisu
USA -- we skip this
Japan--Sukiyaki Beef and ginger side salad
Morocco--Chicken & Lamb Shawarma Platter
France--Ham Quiche and Chocolate Mousse
UK--Fish & Chips
Canada--ummm, just beer!

We're doing this during the Food and Wine Festival. I'm looking forward to it!

I'm curious about the school bread in Norway and the red bean ice cream in China - sounds interesting... We should try something lamb in Morrocco!

I think this is a great way for the kids to try different foods and gain interest in other places without the cost of going there.

Surprised not a lot of people said the pastries in France - I would kill for those!!

Aw come on...In America if youre from the West Coast you GOTTA have a funnel cake....they are hard to come by on the West.

KJ - I've lived in California my whole life and have never thought of funnel cake as hard to come by! It's at every carnival, fair, and amusement park I've ever been to!
