Eatern Excursions.

We are donig the 7 night Eastern later this year.Can anyone recommend an excursion where we can snorkel but in shallow waters,my ds and dw aren't keen swimmers.Any other excursion we should take ?

Rather than doing a specific snorkeling shore excursion we waited until Castaway Cay day and rented snorkel equipment on the island for DH and our DD(10). I was also concerned about the swimming issue and this worked out perfectly. The snorkeling area stays shallow for a long distance and there are lifeguards posted on both sides of the snorkeling area. The water is very clear so the lifeguards have very good visibility. I felt DD was as safe as possible snorkeling there. Enjoy!

I think there is a Dubloon ship excursion. It is a Pirate ship that you can "walk the plank" and snorkel, but you are not far from the ship the whole time. Do a search for Dubloon and it should come up.

CC is an easy snorkel as well. They will also provide life vests to help you float.

Golden Eagle Catamaran in St Maarten. Excellent crew, LOTS of fun and you do not have to be an experienced snorkeler to have a great time.

I would HIGHLY recommend the '5-Star St. John Snorkel & Beach Adventure'

You take a boat to one of the most beautiful beaches that I have ever seen. There, you have the option of snorkeling right off the ship, or they have these little boats that will take you to the beach where you can snorkel off of there.

My husband isn't a swimmer and he loved having the beach to try snorkeling off.
