Eat to the Beat Concerts?

Hi:

I think we would like to catch some of these while we are there, and we want to know, first, where is the American Garden Theater? Is it the same theater that they hold CP?

Also, for anyone who has ever attended one of these, do you need to get there really early for a seat, and is there a way to see them if you sit on the sidelines? Do they allow you to enter the theater early?

I've been to Eat to the Beat and Flower Power.
The shows are in the American Garden's Theater and depending on the Group the lines can start early, I've usually always gotten there about 45 minutes before the show starts and have had a good seat--there are 3 shows and I usually go to the first, but I've heard the last one is less crowded. Depending on the Group--You may hear lots of songs or in the case of the Temptations last year they played 3 songs--long versions of 3 songs. Usually they let us in about 20 minutes before show, altho if its raining they made an exception last year and let us in earlier.
I have enjoyed all the shows I've been to and at Flower Power I did some repeat shows and it appears I'll be doing the same at Eat to the Beat. They usually play for about 30 minutes, and sometimes, will do pictures and autographs upfront after the show. It's alot of fun hearing the old songs.

We were there last year for (and will be again this year) the Beach Boys and you really needed to get in line at least an hour early, some were even in line earlier then that!

Last year for the Beach Boys people were lining up early afternoon and the line was still long. We sat and ate dinner at the American pavilion and could hear them but not see them. When we were done eating we moved closer.
