Can anyone who has done F&WF often, give me some idea as to how many performances/day there are of the featured artist and about what time do they start? I know things change, I'm just trying to get an idea. Our arrival day is the last day that Eddie Money appears and I like the chance to hear him , at least in the background, even if we don't have a seat. How much time do you allow if you want to try to get a seat? Thanks

I read three performances each evening so I imagine you will be able to catch one. I don't remember getting to the theater very early for these - try for the 2nd to last show of the evening and if you don't get a seat you will know how early to be there for the last show?

Enjoy
TJ

Eddie Money - November 5-9
Chubby Checker & The Wildcats - November 10-14

We were there last year and saw Three Dog Night, Chubby Checker and a couple others. We sat down right before the show started and got good seats, so I don't think you would have to get there too early. And with 3 shows a day, its nice because you can catch any or all of the performances.

Thanks for that optimistic info. pedheadval! It seems like the really good stuff happens in the early weeks. Maybe I'll be eating my words once I see Chubby Checker! We'll also be there the first week of the Flower and Garden Fest. so I'm looking forward to seeing those entertainers announced as well!

If you are going to see Chubby Checker get there early! The last time he was there the line was long! Some acts get longer lines than others, I would think the Beach Boys will be a long wait line also. I had no problem last year seeing Sister Sledge or Three Dog Night.

Does anyone know if AP holders can get passes for seats in the front. We were there for Flower and Garden and AP holders had a reserved section in the front. Haven't seen anything posted about them doing this for Food and Wine, anybody know??:sunny: :sunny:

I know I have seen somewhere that AP holders get a chance at front seating. You have to go to guest relations to get the passes to do this. We are going to see the Commodores. Our kids have been listening to them to know the songs.

jimmytammy,

Thanks - that is what they did for Flower and Garden but I had not been able to find out if they were doing that for Food and Wine. I can't wait.:sunny: :sunny:

Don't be surprised or upset if they aren't doing wristbands for the F&W festival.

For the Flower Power concerts, it was mentioned in the MM that there would be wristbands. The recent MM had a whole article about the F&W festival and the concerts but didn't mention anything about wristbands. I have e mailed WDW asking this but they have not responded.

I emailed guest relations a couple of days ago and asked the question about the wrist bands.........they replied no. I wonder why?

We saw 3DogNight twice and had no problems walking right up at show time and getting good seats. You can always stand in the back and hear just fine too. Have fun, we thought it was a blast.
