Eat just dessert at TS restaurant?

Its my understanding that you can book a table and just order dessert at any restaurant ... I have a reservation at Cali Grill on a night to see Holiday Wishes and we're just going to have dessert (and maybe an app). Thinking about doing this at Coral Reef too as we just want to enjoy the atmosphere and I don't eat seafood.

You might have a hard time getting a BOG reservation if you're under your 180 though.

I want to eat at BoG, but the menu doesn't appeal to me. Can I just make an ADR and just eat dessert?

I think desserts are included in the menu price, and not separate :)
Yes, just checked to be sure, they are included, so doubt you could just order it by itself.

Disney lists the dinner as "a la carte". So you should be able to order dessert only, or anything else you would like.

The menu doesn't list individual prices yet, so it may be that information is incorrect. Or maybe they will do both a la carte and prix fixe- "...after all Miss, this is France!" & that's kind of a French thing to do!

In addition, I think the menu is pretty extensive for a restaurant that will accept the DDP at 1 TS credit. That is, there are a lot of things on there that won't fall under the DDP. It's usually packages that are prix fixe, (e.g. Fantasmic! or the Candlelight Processional) or really high end restaurants like Victoria & Albert's.

It's a good question, and one I'm definitely going to check back on when we go in December, because my family typically grazes all day, and if it's prix fixe, I'll have to starve 'em a little bit or they won't eat it all!

On the Disney Food Blog lunch and dinner have the same desserts listed. You could go for lunch which will be CS and therefore no reservations.

That's what I'm thinking.
I got a BOG reservation just in case, but if they announce that all that will be different for dinner is the prices, I'll likely cancel and just go for lunch.

I do like having a "guaranteed" slot though, since the lines will likely be crazy for the first few months.
