Eat Boma in your room at AKL?

I was wondering, is it possible to go to Boma and instead of eating there, can you take the food back up to your room? I was wondering cuz we are gonna have dinner there for 1 night and breakfasts for 2 mornings and would love to just sit out on the balcony and eat since we are going for savannah view.

I believe the buffet's policy is that you can not remove the food from the buffet area.

That being said: AKL has wonderful room service.

There are also a couple of Boma items that you can pick up at Mara...the butternut squash soup and zebra domes come to mind.
