Well between it being really hot the and my pregnancy hormones kicking my butt we have been eating out way too much. I am jus so tired that it's taking it's toll on me. We need to get way back on track

Tonight we are having ham and cheese sandwiches with tomato soup. Not the healthiest but the easiest.

Great idea!!! I'm new to this:)

Dinner tonight:
Homemade sausage gravy over biscuits and fried potatoes seasoned with garlic pepper.

Delicious and cheap:rotfl:

Last night I made quesadillas with cheese, leftover grilled chicken and fried pepper and onions in it. Served with Lipton Rice and steam in bag mexican mix veggies.

The night before I made a stir fry with chicken, brocolli, bok choy and mushrooms served with white rice.

Tonight I'm not sure. I'm thinking homemade pizza but I'm going to have to have hubby make up a batch of pizza dough and I don't know if he'll do it :)

Night before last - meatloaf, w/ mashed potatoes and broccoli

Last night - Beef goulash w/ egg noodles

Tonight - Grilled sirloin w/ baked potato and corn on the cob

Tomorrow night - Shepard's pie

All main courses were prepared a couple of weeks ago and frozen.

Well I did it:rotfl2:I made the sauce for tonight and a potato salad fr well me cause that's what baby wants:rotfl: I am going to try to make a apple pie later today hopefully I can stay awake:sad2:

I meant to write down meals but forgot. So far this week, we've had:

Monday: sweet potato-apple-ginger mash with tempe bacon strips and grilled spiced asparagus and a large salad

Tuesday: vegetable tofu frittata and salad

Wednesday: barbecue-sauced beans topped with cornbread biscuits with salad

Tonight: sweet potato oven fries with a hummus-salsa dip/topping
steamed broccoli
strawberry-spinach salad

Friday: not sure yet, but I have a new cookbook of vegan burgers so I am thinking of trying out one or two!

Tonight is clean out the fridge night. We are going out of town for the weekend so I want to use up the leftovers.

Well, I planned 6 nights of meals- figured one night we would eat all the leftovers... all the meat is out of my freezer so I only had to buy what we need for the recipes.... I only spent $56 at the store- but I didn't buy any fresh fruit or veggies... I just don't like those at Walmart.... I am giving myself the other $44 this week for bread/milk/eggs and fresh produce runs to the store. I'm thinking probably will do this Sunday and hoping I don't spend the whole $44.

Last night we had pan-crusted tilapia, spanish rice, and roasted asparagus...tonight? Take-out. :rolleyes1

Tonight for us is a roast in the crockpot. Having it with carrots, mac n cheese & broccoli.

Tonight will be spagetti with meat sauce, and steamed broccoli.

Tomorrow will be smoked brisket. We're hosting a BBQ, and friends/guests are bringing the sides and dessert. DH makes awesome brisket, so I can't wait!

Tonight is chopped salads with fresh bread. I have on heck of a headache that will NOT go away so I didn't want to really cook.

Tomorrow will be cubed steaks and fried potatoes with white gravy. YUM!!!

I will go back to the store on Monday, my usual shopping day. We just had nothing in the house to make since we were out of town for a week!

Tonight is the red beans and rice that the guys didn't eat while I was out of town. Tomorrow is who knows-I need to see just who will be here. We're out of town again Saturday and the horde returns on Sunday. I don't have a plan yet but I'm thinking meatloaf and tacos on two nights. Albertson's had bottom round on sale for $1.88 so I bought three roasts and ground them up for the freezer.

We are up on Kelleys Island for the weekend so no eating at home. Last night we went out to dinner and tonight we are cooking beer braised chicken so we get to eat at our home away from home.

Its been a crazy week around here for us. Our furnace (and thus the AC) quit working last Sunday so we lived half the week at my grandma's to avoid our 92 degree house while our new furnace was being installed. :sad2: We ate at my grandma's half the week with food from home and ate out (pizza, fast food) the remainder of the week that we were able to come home so we could avoid heating up our already warm house. So we have a working furnace and AC now so we're back on track!

Sunday: Chicken kabobs, corn on the cob - going to try the corn on the grill

Monday: Hamburgers on the grill, mac & cheese

Tuesday: Chicken lettuce wraps, steamed rice

Wednesday: Grilled brats & baked beans

Thursday: Teriyaki grilled chicken, rice a roni, pineapple

Friday: Chicken nuggets, french fries (DD's pick )

Saturday: DH's family reunion. Taking hot dogs for our family and either cupcakes or brownies because I have both in the pantry.

Sunday: Chicken tacos (DD 15 pick :thumbsup2)

Monday: Spaghetti & garlic toast

Tuesday: Homemade pizza

Wednesday: Sausage gravy and biscuits (DD 10 pick)

Temps for the next 10 days are going to be in the upper 90's to near 100's  so we're trying to utilize the grill and avoid the oven as much as possible.

Tonight is chopped salads with fresh bread. I have on heck of a headache that will NOT go away so I didn't want to really cook.

I hope you feel better now
I think I might have try your salad and bread idea:idea:

Tomorrow DH is cooking and we will have chicken saltimbocca from Giada's recipe. It's worth the cost of the prosciutto.
