Easy wait list question

How many resorts can you wait list for at one time?

For example: I call at my 11 month window and make a reservation for my home resort (AKV.) At the 7 month window, if I call and there is no availability at my desired resorts (say, BCV and BLT) - can I wait list for both or just one?

I seem to recall the policy on this changing this past year, but ran a search and didn't find anything.

Edited to add: Furthermore, if I get put on a waitlist and it comes through, do we HAVE to take it? Does the system automatically put it through or are you contacted first?

You can only have two wait lists active during a use year. If a wait list is matched it will automatically be turned into a confirmed reservation and any other wait lists for the same dates will be cancelled.

BLT has three booking categories. You would have to decide on two of the three and not waitlist BCV or one of the three and also waitlist BCV.

If you don't think you want the waitlisted property, cancel it before it is converted to that property. You don't get to tell them keep it or not.

Thanks, guys. :-)

So if I really want BCV, I should just waitlist for that? Because if I waitlist BCV and BLT, and BLT comes through, it's going to cancel my BCV waitlist? Bummer.

Guess this is one of the reasons I love DVC - there really is something to like about every resort, right? :-)
