Have snap pliers? I made these using 5/8" ribbon, that I sealed using a lighter on both ends, and a few snaps. I wrote "ID" on the outside and when you snap it open you see my cell phone number. Easy and cheap. If you don't have snap pliers, they will cost you about as much as you'd pay for ID tags and you can use them forever!
