The grandkids have been bugging me to get a swimming pool for when they come over on Tuesday evenings. I had one of those hard plastic wading pools last year but it got a hole in it. Besides, the kids are bigger now and I wanted to graduate to the next step...an above ground pool.
I went to K-Mart and saw that Intex had their smallest metal frame pool on sale. It is a 12 x 30". I thought this would be the perfect size for them and for me to learn all that's involved in taking care of it.
The box said easy set up! Well, I got the thing home and opened the box. No pun intended, but I knew I was in over my head!
Today I called my neice & her husband. They have a much bigger above-ground pool. They were super sweet and came right over! They had the thing set up in record time!
So, I guess the box was right when it said "easy set up"!
There is so much to learn. Guess, I'll be getting my feet wet on this latest venture!
I can hardly wait to see the grandkids faces when they come over Tuesday! Next month I will be getting patio blocks all around to keep the mud level down.
