We go in 20 days now! Yay! And I've started thinking about what we're going to do regarding money. After reading quite a few TR's where people have been mugged I'm now obsessed with not carrying many euros on us as although I have a cross body handbag we will have a lot to distract us as we have 2 older children and a baby so I think i would be an easy target when distracted feeding him etc.
I am thinking about just changing about £300 in euros and using the easy pass, my only worry is that I don't have a credit card, only a visa debit card. Would that be accepted?
Sorry for the massive post, it probably could have been said in a sentence!

yes thats fine - a visa debit card is treated the same way as a credit card for the easypass :).

Yes you can use your debit card. Just some advice, check with your bank how much they charge using the card abroad so you are not shocked when you get back with extra charges.

Also it sometimes help to let them know you are going abroad so they can mark your account & not block your card:goodvibes

Just wanted to say that we used easypass for the first time this year and found it fantastic. Saved so much hassle and only one transaction fee by checking out at the hotel :thumbsup2

we go on our first trip 4 weeks toady:cool1: and just wondered what the easy pass is please

You get your Easy Pass when you check into your hotel and as long as you lave them credit/debit card details, you can then use that pass to charge things against. You then pay the bill when you leave. Some restaurants in Disney Village aren't run by Disney and don't accept the Easy Pass.

Is the Easy Pass only at Disney hotels or can you get them at Partner hotels such as Magic Circus too?

Thank you so much for your help, i am definitely going to use the easy pass and just keep a few euros on me for emergencies.
I can now find something else to obsess about! :) x

I'm sure somebody will correct me if I'm wrong but I think the easy passes are only for onsite hotels :(

Haven't seen anything about this - where are people being mugged?? Surely not in Disney Park or Village??

:confused3

Sorry, yes I did mean pick pocketers. I was just being dramatic!
