Hello everyone, I'm looking for some easy holiday candy ideas, but I am not just talking "dip pretzel logs in chocolate and roll in sprinkles." I have a bunch of white and milk chocolate confectioner's pieces, and I am not afraid to use them ;) Any ideas?

Can confectioner's pieces be melted the same as chocolate chips? (If you can't tell, I'm a candy eater, not maker.) :teeth:

Here's an easy one I used to make many years ago: Stained Glass Candy II

Yes, they can. I am not sure if that is what they are actually called or not. I'm an eater too ;) It is just melting chocolate... the small disk-like pieces.

Thanks for the recipe suggestion! Does anyone know any others?

Here's one for fudge. I amde it this week and DH thought that it was good.

Holly Jolly Fudge
RECIPE INGREDIENTS:
3 cups semisweet- or milk-chocolate chips
1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Assorted sprinkles, sugars, and candy decorations

1. Place the chocolate chips in a 2-quart bowl and microwave for 1 minute, then stir them with a wooden spoon. If the chips are not completely melted, microwave them again for 30 seconds, then stir until they're smooth.

2. Stir in the condensed milk, salt, and vanilla extract.

3. Line a 9-inch square pan with aluminum foil, extending it about 2 inches beyond each side. (This makes it easy to remove the fudge later.) Lightly spray the foil with nonstick cooking spray.

4. Spread the mixture evenly in the pan.

5. Chill the candy until firm, about 30 minutes in the freezer or 1 hour in the refrigerator.

6. Lift the foil from the pan and place it on a flat work area. Use 1-inch cookie cutters to cut out the fudge, then lightly press decorations onto each piece. Makes about 50 pieces.

**I added meltd peanut butter chips to the top and it was an instant peanut butter cup type bar. Very yummy!!! :thumbsup2

This recipie was in the Dec/Jan Family Fun issue

I'm thinking about giving some Pepermint bark some try. From what I've seen it sounds EASY. Just take white chocolate (or the white bark)...melt it down....mix in some crushed up candy canes..spread onto a cookie sheet (that's lined with foil) sprinkle on a few more crushed candy canes...chill...break and serve :thumbsup2 You can also add some extra peppermint flavoring (extract) if you really want it pepperminty :)

Of course I don't know how it's going to turn out but it looked GOOD...and sounds great.
