QUICK, please.... Does anyone have a easy fudge recipe? I had one a few years ago that was soooo easy but I forgot it. It was something like condensed milk, choc. chips and something else and you just melted it on the stove, removed it and I think let it sit until firm or you put it in the fridge. Does anyone know of this recipe? Or one similar. I am looking to make this for my kids school staff, teachers, etc. by Thursday !! YIIKES!! Nothing like waiting until the last minute, huh? Thanks in advance!!!!!

This one is super easy and really good. It's also really sinful and probably the reason I need to lose a couple of pounds right now. :)

2 Ingredient "Fudge"

1 (12 ounce) can of ready to spread frosting, any flavor
1 (12 ounce) package chocolate chips, any flavor (ie. chocolate chips)

12-16 servings 1 8x8 pan

5 minutes 5 mins prep

Make sure you have complimentary flavors.
Melt the chips in a microwave safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
Melt frosting until pourable, about 30 seconds.
Mix together the chips and frosting and pour into a greased 8x8 pan.
Chill until set, about an hour.
Makes a very soft, smooth fudge.
Do not use the toffee chips, as they don't melt very well.
Try any other flavor combo you can think of.

I have one that everyone loves and it is not heavy.

Fantasy Fudge

3 cups Sugar
2/3 cup evaporated milk
2 cups chocolate chips
1 jar marshmallow creme
3/4 cup butter
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Combine sugar, butter, and milk in pan, bring to boil stirring constantly.
Remove from heat
Stir in chocolate chips until melted (i sometimes put it back on the heat to help this along)
Add marshmallow, nuts and vanilla mix until smooth
Pour in to a greased 9x13 pan and let cool (use shortening, not Pam)

This is sooooo good. Family favourite. I make at least 10 batches at Christmas for hubbys work buddies, teachers, friends, and family!

5 minute fudge

1 2/3 cups white sugar
2/3 cup Carnation Evaporated Milk
2 tbsp butter or marg
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups white mini marshmallows
1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1 tsp vanilla

In a medium saucepan combine sugar, milk, butter and salt
Stir over medium heat until mixture comes to a full boil
Boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla, marshmallows, and chocolate chips.
Stir vigourously until marshmallows melt and blend
Pour into foil-lined 8 inch baking dish. (get this ready ahead of time, as the fudge will thicken quickly)
Chill.
When it is done, take it out by the foil, grab a big knife and cut it into small pieces.
Good Luck, hope you enjoy!

This is a great simple square too and makes a big batch:

3 Ingredient Squares

250 gram box of Original Ritz crackers
225 gram bag of Skor bits
300 ml can sweetened condensed milk

Crush ritz crackers into fine crumbs. In a large bowl, mix together cracker crumbs, skor bits and condensed milk. Wet hands in cold water and press into greased 9x13 pan. Bake at 350'F for 15-20 minutes until golden
Cool before cutting.

Skor is a toffee candy covered in chocolate. Quite yummy.

Maybe skor bits are a Canadian thing?? I thought of that as I was posting. I think we use different measurements too? I know that the foods are different from here to there! Skor bits can be found by the chocolate chips in our grocery stores here. They are great on plain cheesecake with chocolate sauce too!!

I "THINK" skors are pretty much the same as Heath bits (bars) here. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I use the Fantasy Fudge recipe ALL the time and make more batches than I can count every year for Christmas. I think it's the best. Apparently a few of my friends do too as they always ask me to make some for them. DD13, says she wants me to make her a batch of fudge for her b-day instead of a cake! Guess I'm doing something right!!

DD is 11 and makes this one all by herself:

Murri’s Can’t Fail Killer Fudge

1-1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1-1/2 cups mini marshmallows
5 ounces evaporated milk
butter (to grease pan)
1-2/3 cups sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla

Grease and 8”x8” pan with butter. Combine milk, sugar and salt over in saucepan over low heat. Bring to a gentle boil, for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, stir in marshmallows, chocolate chips and vanilla. Cool in refrigerator, and cut into very small squares because these are rich!

Hi. I just made that great recipe from Alberton Mom.
WOW. Sister inlaw came over and we almost ate the whole pan. Everyone, please try it. How easy. And I even remembered all the ingredients when I was in the grocery store. One bowl and NO mess. My two DDS could even make them. Thanks, Alberton Mom. ps. I am from Ontario too.

YAY! I am so glad you enjoyed them.
I love them too, I am going to make them today!

I forgot to add- to the three ingredient square you can also add about 1/2 cup of coconut, that makes it really good too! :earsgirl: :earsgirl:
