easy entry question for experts or recent visitors

Haven't been to WDW since XMAS 2004. Are the non-early entry parks still opening 30 mins before the official opening time?

When we were at WDW last June none of the parks opened earlier than the posted opening time. In the past they would let you up to the rope and hold you there but we had to stay outside last year until opening. The MK turnstiles will let you through but only up to the train station until the opening ceremonies are completed.

I think it depends on crowding. Turnstiles may open early so there is not so much of a traffic jam behind them. But I do not recall the attractions opening before opening hour.
