Eastern Beaches on your own?

We are going on the Eastern with DD 6. We were hesitant to book any excursions with the boat rides and snorkleling bc she isn't crazy about getting her face wet.

We decieded not to book any, instead to get of and go a bit of shopping and go to the beaches.

In St. John someone suggested taking a cab to Coral World.

My question is if you hit a beach on your own, do they have changing rooms or should you wear your suit? Also do they have chair rentals, and towel service?

We took a taxi on our own to Orient Beach in St. Maarten. They had chairs and umbrellas on the beach for rent but where we were they weren't offering towel service. We brought our own from the ship. I am not sure about changing rooms because we wore our suits to the beach.

We too are planning on taking a cab to Coral World. It is next door to Coki Beach. Your admission to Coral World includes use of their facilities. I believe I read somewhere they have a shower. Go to Coral World's website and get a coupon for admission.

I'd be wearing your swimsuit and bringing towels from the ship. They have bins of them available by where you get off the ship. Don't bring towels from your room!
