My family and I will be in Florida for Easter, the first time we've visited at this time of year. I hope someone can answer a couple of questions for me.

First question is a little off topic here, but do you guys in the states have the tradition of giving chocolate eggs at Easter? If not I guess we'll have to bring some with us!

Second question is back on topic. I know about the Easter Parade at the Magic Kingdom, but are there any other Easter events at Disney World (or elsewhere in Orlando) that we should plan to see?

Thanks !

Some of the resorts have egg/candy hunts on Easter morning. Try this link for a listing of activities from last year:

They also have a place to buy made-to-order Easter baskets at some of the resorts. I thought the last Easter parade was 2000.

Actually there is no longer an Easter parade at MK. This was stopped several years ago.

The parks don't really have any special events to mark the Holiday. The resorts may have a few, but that will be about it.
