Easter

Was there this past Easter and parks were very busy Thursday through Easter day. The Monday after Easter was much less crowded. Would be a good idea to make as many priority seatings as possible in advance especially for shows such as Fantasmic. It was busy but not unbearable. Use fastpass as much as you can.

Weather was mid eighties and not very humid. Saw some rain Easter night but that worked in our favor at Magic Kingdom. After having dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern, the rain had just stopped and we walked on all the rides in Fantasyland without wait. We actually had to wait for Its a small world for more people to fill ride. Good Luck.

We also went this past Easter after only usually going in May. We found it not as bad as I thought it going to be. We avoided MK on Easter Sunday, and did another park instead (cant remember which one but it was most likely Epcot) Anyway we had a fabulous time!! I would go again that time of year. Plan, plan, plan and make those PS's!!!!! Have fun!

This was our first easter trip, we actually did not go for the holiday itself, but the time just coincided with the ds school spring break. for 2005 its the last week of april, so we will miss easter. The busses were always full, standing room only etc, there were actual lines to get a fast pass, my ds thought that was amazing in itself, I made all our priority seatings well in advance. on easter day we had breakfast at cape may buffet. They did have an extra special minnie and mickey in the lobby for photo op, but it appeared our server was not happy to be working on the holiday etc. For dinner we went to hollywood and vine, and we could not even get the fantasmic pkg. it stormed, so we just went back to the hotel, swan, early. We spent the day in epcot. They had the special alice in wonderland tea party going on, i really wanted mary poppins and they said they moved her because of this special event. They also said in france there would be beauty and the beast characters, well there they told us well today we only have esmerelda and frollo, hugh? Epcot was not too crowded and we all enjoyed it. If you plan well, you will have a good time.

We had a blast! My advice is get ot the parks to open them, use fast pass, stay until lunch, go back to your resort and swim, rest, nap and go back to the parks in the late afternoon. We hit mGM on Easter and the CM's were commenting on how dead it was!

Have fun!
