Easter Weekend 2015 what worked and what didn't

MagicBands

What did not work....
Online checking
Luggage being delivered on time from ME
Busses running 1 hour before park opening
Downtown Disney

We loved our MagicBands. They are so convenient. You don't have to carry anything to the pool or restaurants. Fastpass worked well in combination with rope drop. Ours were for late morning or early afternoon. We arrived at rope drop and rode headliners or things we didn't have FP for. Best food and service at all reservations. Be Our Guest was by far the best for both delicious food and amazing service.

Arrival was a mess. The online checking lines were far slower than regular check in. I think the front desk cast member was poorly trained. We arrived at 9pm and waited 45 minutes to check in, didn't get a text with our room number and she set our charging limit to zero on our MagicBands. I would suggest everyone do a test charge as soon as you check in. The crowds all weekend were much lighter than expected except for Downtown Disney Sunday evening. WOW! It was shoulder to shoulder.

We arrived Easter morning, first time with ME. The luggage woke us up but no complaints. My magic band would not work for the room. We didn't even hit MK until Wishes was about to start but got about 10 good rides in from 9-1. Crowds didn't thin out until 11 or so.

I agree with DTD. The bus getting in & out took a while and the crowds were worse than the parks.

We had dinner! Delicious!!
