Help! Our plans have changed. We had planned on going in June, but that will not work now. It looks like Easter break is when we will try to squeeze this little trip in.

This is what I've found for Me, DH, and DD (3) April 13 - 17, 2006

Airfare from ND $1200
Motel (Anaheim Plaza Hotel) $375 This is 80.50 night
Tickets (ARES) $358
Food ??? $400
We will not be renting a car, using shuttle, etc.

Any other suggestions? Any info on Anaheim Plaza? Not our first choice in hotels, but trying to make this as "affordable" as possible. Airfare always gets us in ND!

Thanks for any help.

I would check www.getawaytoday.com for a ticket/hotel package. When I put in your dates I got alot cheaper options (4 nights, is that right?) Also check www.mousesavers.com for Ho Jo rates. Getawaytoday also has 3 day PH buy one adult get a child's PH free.

Also, what helped me, don't forget to budget for incidentals like stroller rental (if needed), lockers, snacks and drinks in the park, etc.

I think your food budget might be a bit low - $400 for 5 days. Does your hotel offer a free breakfast? If not your numbers work out to $88 for food per day or $29.33 per meal. And you have to factor in tax and tip.
Your 3 year old probably doesn't eat much and might eat for free at some restaurants. But to be on the safe side I'd bring a bit more. It's amazing how fast cash seems to disappear at dl!

Thanks for the info.
getawaytoday has some good prices.

anybody know about Clarion or Anaheim Int. Travelodge??

Thanks!

I just got my tickets through getawaytoday. I had to call them and saved myself the shipping. They have buy one adult and get the child for free. Then I went to Safeway (grocery store) and bought the other adult ticket (at the kid's price). If you call them for the tickets it will come to $159 for you and your child since they charge $10 for processing fee. Tell them you want to pick up the tickets at Disneyland though. If you are going to get your hotel through them as well, they give you two adult in the price. They are FULL FARE adult tickets. So just mark one adult, one child and then go and mark one adult at the kids price. It will save you about $100.00

Check out www.tripadvisor.com for reviews. I have not stayed at either of those. :wave2:
