Wednesday morning was pretty much like Tuesday until we got to the bus stop and I realised I didn’t have my annual pass. Rather than all of us stay behind Susan and Zoe headed to the parks and Jess and I returned and searched our room. It was not to be found :confused3 so we headed off on the next bus (1005) fully expecting to have to get a replacement pass.

We queued at guest services and they told us that the annual passport office wasn’t open until 11am so we headed into Salon Mickey to wait. Jess and I played find the lid under 3 cups . Really simple but great fun and a little Spanish girl sensing our fun joined in too. We managed to play for about 5 minutes using sign language and the odd words we knew of each others language. It was really sweet.:lovestruc

Around 11am the CM from guest services came to give me an update and after contacting the annual passport office and lost and found had managed to find my lost pass ! :dance3: (I had left it in the fastpass machine at the flying carpets the day before :rolleyes1 ).

Jess and I were escorted over to City Hall were we were reunited with the lost pass. On our way up Main Street the Character express train music started so we waited to see the characters. By the time we reached central plaza there was a scrum of people meeting characters (why do they not do organised queues !!! ) so we headed to Gideon (the cat from Pinocchio ) who looked the least busy. We caught up with Susan and Zoe outside IASW. Zoe had a new hat as a reward for her swimming the night before and it was huge on her little head.

Fantasyland was much busier today . Jess , Zoe and I waited for the carousel whilst Susan went in search of a coffee . We then headed down to the two little rides at the back encountering Tweedledum and tweedledee on the way ,who to our disgust and the girl’s delight :rotfl2: were pretending to pick their noses and eat it, then rub their tummies-lovely .:rotfl:

We rode the storybook cruise (twice as the girls were having a minor squabble about who was sitting where (and riding twice meant they both got a seat at either side). Casey Junior had a huge queue so we gave that a miss.
Zoe wanted to ride Snow White , which Jess is petrified of so we headed off to Adventureland and walked through Aladdin’s cave instead.

We met back at ADC for our Princess Lunch. As ever the food was lovely and the girls loved meeting the Princesses. However they were a little less organised than on previous occasions we’ve been and we had only seen Sleeping Beauty and the Mice by the time we had finished a very leisurely lunch.

(Snow White and her Prince and Cinderella were around but never seemed to reach our table). As Jess was dressed as Cinderella she was a bit disappointed  so we asked one of the mice when Cinderella would be coming – she went over to a lady with a clipboard who then sent the other Princesses down to our end of the restaurant where they were given a huge round of applause.

Jess gets to meet the 'real' Cinderella

and Snow White's handsome Prince

So we stayed to meet them too before getting our princesses changed back into their outside clothes.

For lunch Susan and I had the mixed starter (salmon, foie gras and cheese and tomato) , and for our main course veal with potato gratin and veg . Jess had fish Candy (Fish fillet in puff pastry ) and asparagus risotto and Zoe had chicken with gravy and mashed potatoes and veg.. Both girls ate well and loved their Cinderella slipper dessert.

As we’d been before and not enjoyed the adult dessert as much we asked for the children’s dessert too – which was much more yummy !

WE had intended to head down to central plaza after our meal to see the parade but as we’d been there so long (1330-15.55) we only had time to get to Bella Notte where we stood on the wall outside the ice cream shop to watch the parade. It was a bit of a restricted view for us bigger people because of the trees but the girls could see fine which was the most important thing.:goodvibes

We had got fastpasses for Peter Pan earlier in the day so that was our next stop. I love the theming in this ride although it seemed more jerky this time (although that was probably due to my slightly full tummy too ! :rotfl2: )

After this Susan and Zoe went off to ride POTC and Jess and I went to visit the Treehouse.

We ended our day in the park at the Pirates beach playpark when it started to rain/sleet heavily so we headed back for the 1730 bus.

That evening we had another play in the play room and a swim before heading back to the room for the night.

I had a bath in the huge bath :lovestruc while Jess watched TV in bed (a big treat –she doesn’t have TV in her room at home) .

What a relief to find that I'm not the only one who has lost their AP during a visit to DLP. I realised before I had left the park, and reported the loss at City Hall, at that point no one had handed it in.

The following morning, at around 11am, we went to Guest Relations and discovered that someone had tried to use my pass that morning to enter the park! It had been confiscated!!

I think there was some suspicion that I had given it to someone, but after a few questions, they agreed to give it back to me. I didn't realise they paid that much attention when they put your pass in the machine for you, after all, the photos aren't that good are they? But they obviously do!!

Lovely photos of your lunch with the Princesses :thumbsup2

Another lovely day... Great photos! Thanks for sharing...

I noticed that they were much more observant when you were using annual passes than I've seen on previous visits. I wonder if they have had trouble with people 'sharing' passes :confused3

Really pleased they found your pass.
Also good to know you can have the childrens dessert at Auberge if you ask.

Ive been reading your report trying to work out if we were in the same area at all as you that day but I dont think we were.

I was thinking the same reading yours :goodvibes
When I noticed you'd been at the Lucky Nugget I thought it might have been at the same time but it was different characters so must have been a different day;)

I am enjoying your reports so far. It sounds like you are having a lovely time. I am reading all the details about Marriott with great interest because I will be there for the first time in just over 3 weeks. The play room sounds great & we will be making use of the pool too when we are there, so great to hear that they supply towels!

I have some piccies of the play area I'll upload :goodvibes

This is on the right as you enter the room. It has two levels and is probably best suited for 2-8 years.

This is nearer the back of the room where there are tables and little chairs for colouring in.

Most of the furniture is instantly recognisable as IKEA and there are always some toys left out like the hoops and crayons.

It's not a huge room but is lovely and child friendly .Great for the kids to have some wind down time in when it's too cold for the outside play areas ( There are 3 - I can think of outside one is right next to the (free) bus stop which is very handy.

I think it's staffed and has organised activities during the day (maybe from 10 till 5)but we always visited outwith these times (It's open from 8am till 8pm)

So glad you got your pass back, looks like you had a lovely time at ADC and don't all the princesses look wonderful.

Phew!! Glad your pass was returned. I noticed on our October trip that they were being a lot more observant with our APs.

Lovely photos of Jess, she looks an absolute stunner in her Cinderella dress. princess:

Lovely report and photos.

So glad you got your pass back. When we went in Feb we were stopped and they asked Husband to remove his hat so they could check it really was him in the photo (the ginger hair can't be faked!) so I guess they are being very vigilant.
