Easter Sunday - EMH

Our experience from many Easter trips is that Easter Sunday itself is not quite as crowded as the days immediately following it. So, it may not be that strange that just those following days have had the hours extended for now. I wouldn't be shocked if they move the opening up for a few more days, especially for the week before Easter, which I would think will also be very crowded with the different spring break schedules in different parts of the country. I don't expect them to add more AM EMH.

This is good to know! I'll be watching closely to see if they move Easter Sunday up to 8am. If they don't, I'm kind of excited, but also bummed because I want to see the Opening Show! I'll be in the middle of breakfast when that's going on. Oh, well. I had planned to just use that extra time (if there was 7am EMH) for wandering down Main Street, soaking it all up, and doing Enchanted Tales w/Belle before going to BOG for breakfast. Then we have fastpasses scheduled for after breakfast is over.
Hmmm. Has anyone noticed if they've added an earlier run of the FoF and Easter pre-parade? Any news about an Easter pre-parade at all??

We will be there at the same time and I keep checking the hours but so far no change. As I write this we are getting ready for our first big snow storm of the season. Its 6:50am here and the weather reporters still don't know how bad it will be but they are saying anywhere from 3 to 7 inches and for the heaviest snow to be falling during my commute home. I will be so ready for WDW by the end of March!! Let's hope for those extended hours.

We're getting ready for a day/evening of severe thunderstorms and possible tornadoes here. The weather this year has been so absurd. I'm over it. Bring on Mickey!

They have added a noon FOF parade for the four days with 8 AM openings, but I don't see it scheduled any other days.

I haven't seen anything about an Easter pre parade, but there was one last year and I don't remember much publicity for it.

Well dang! I would assume if they're going to have the Easter part of the parade they'd have it on Easter. I was really banking on an early parade on Easter Sunday and then hopping to Epcot. *sigh* If I had thought Easter wasn't going to have anything extra going on at MK, I wouldn't have planned to go there that morning. But now we have BOG booked for breakfast, so we're sort of locked in.

Oh well. Maybe things will change. Not the end of the world.

Last year I'm pretty sure the Easter pre parade was only on Easter Sunday. They had the ladies in their colorful Easter dresses hanging around Main Street during the morning for pictures before their appearance in the parade.

We will be there March 24- April 1st! I am still hoping for some 7am EMHs for Magic Kingdom. They have always done that so I would be shocked if they didn't because Easter week is going to rival Christmas crowds because it falls during Spring Break.

It pouring here in NJ today but will take that over snow. I'm done with the winter! 29 days to Disney/DCL cruise - can't wait!!!!

We love to get snow days here in Louisiana. Everything shuts down if we even get a quarter of an inch! We got 7 inches out in the country a few years back and we thought we were in a blizzard! It is so much fun playing with the kids all day long. I'm glad I don't have to shovel it all the time though! We get out of work and school so we get to play when it sleets or snows!
