Easter school holiday dates

Hello folks

Looking for suitable dates for our trip this year and wondered if anyone could help with general UK and French school holidays. Mine are first two weeks in April.

Last year we had local public holidays and it was a tad busy....

France goes from the 13/4 - 13/5 across the 3 zones. The holidays before that end on the 18/3.

They also get Easter Monday off and that's it

Irish schools break up march 22nd - April 8th

We are in south lanarkshire in glasgow and easter break is the first 2 weeks in april. Just booked tonight to go on 7th-11th. Can't wait! x

The schools here in Wiltshire are off from March 23rd - April 8th (the 9th for us, as it is a TD day).

We are in DLP from 25th - 29th March - woot!

Booked the flight ticket with Easyjet last night as this combination (7th-11th) seems the cheapest. Would love to drive down and take the Eurostar instead but when I checked the fares, it is still cheaper to fly direct from Glasgow. Stayed at HNY for the last trip but decided to give Chayenne a go this time as that means we save around £400 and that can be used towards meal.

I am so excited! We have not told the kids yet - it will be a surprise trip for them (well if i can contain the excitement until then lol)
