Just wondering who else out there is going during Easter. I'm having a really difficult time trying to plan it. I may be over reacting but I just want to make the most of this trip. I'm at the point now, where I'm even second guessing what parks for which days. Getting up at 6 or 6:30 am to get to the parks for early entry will not be an option - I'm still looking at this as a vacation - I don't get up at 6 for work!!!

Anyone else having a rough time with this - or am I over reacting. Any thoughts or insight would be great.

No, you are not over reacting. WDW is a big investment of time and money and it requires a lot of planning to get the most out of it. You might want to consider checking the touringplans site for crowd level indexes and their recommendations for best and worst parks to visit on a particular day. TourGuideMike is also excellent and you can get a $3 discount if you use the code here on the DIS (check the theme parks board). I believe it's $18.95 with the discount and it's well worth it. Planning is part of the fun for most of us on these boards, but for some it can be very stressful. Good luck and have a magical vacation!:wizard:

I like TGM for planning park days too. During my 2001 trip, I made cue-cards with ADR #'s and the plan for the day. DH thought I was nuts, until day three when he started asking to look at the cards....heeheehee.

That was during my COMMANDO days! Now that we've seen and done everything, we are in RELAX mode! We do and see our favs and rest by the pool alot more!

John Lennon said, "Life is what happens to you when you are busy making other plans."

Plan the best you can and expect nothing to go the way you planned and you'll be alright! Blessings, Sandra

Thanks for the re-assurances! I've checked a couple of sources for best days for which park - the two I checked have differing opnions and are not even close. One was UG the website, and I can't remember what the other was. So that's what I'm finding a bit confusing. We've all been to Disney before so maybe that might take some pressure off.

I found reading the Disboards daily the absolute best way to plan!!

Once you check the park hours for your days, check the early entry parks for each day as well. We usually avoided the early entry park because it seemed busier. Once you have a flexible plan, ask everyone in the group to identify the major attractions they want to see in that park. We come up with a list of "musts", and a list of "hopefuls" and a list of other things "if we have time." This way no one is disappointed.

As long as you have visited before, you won't be too overwhelmed. That was our biggest problem on the first trip. After that, you know what you don't really need to experience and skip it.

Relax, enjoy and do as much as you are comfortable with. The key is not to wish you had done more--just enjoy because it is your vacation!pixiedust:
