If the park is at capacity and we have a ps for a particular restraunt in the park, will they let us in?

I think they have to let you in if you are staying at a Disney owned resort--you are supposed to have guarrented admission to the 4 major parks if staying on property.

If the park reaches a certain capacity even those who are guests at WDW hotels will NOT be allowed into a park, even with a PS! This has happened on NYE and Christmas Day for us in 1999, 2003, 2004 although it was only MK that closed and it was by 11am. I have been there on Easter Sunday(it was a ZOO-even worse that the holidays), but I don't know if MK was at capacity. They will first close to nonWDW guests , then to ANYONE if the numbers are high enough.

It depends on which level of closing they're at. If they're at the final level -- no more guests, no matter what -- then you will not get in, even with a PS.

It's rare for them to reach that level; generally, a park will close to everyone except on-site guests. So if you're staying on-site, you'll probably be okay. But it's always best on really busy days to stay in the park where your PSs are. Just to be safe.

Staying on site only guarantees you admission to 1 of the parks-- if it's that busy-- it may not be the park of your choice. Being Easter week-- and travel being up again-- I'd do some careful planning just to not be disappointed.
