Easter or Christmas?

I know that both times will be crazy, but with our kids' school calendars, we just can't find another full week to go (other than summer, but heat makes us mean :headache:) For those who have been either week, I'd love to hear your thoughts on if it was worth all the effort and expense with the massive crowds you had to deal with. Bonus points if you've been both weeks and have a preference :D

TIA!

Edited to add that we've been at Thanksgiving, but I understand that crowds at Easter and Christmas are far worse. Anyone been at Thanksgiving and either of the other weeks and can say if they found Easter or Christmas far crazier?

We were there the week after xmas, during NYE and New Years day, but not actual xmas day. We have also been the week before Good Friday week, which had crowd levels of 9 & 10. It was just DH and I for the NYE trip; we wanted to see how it went. DS10 has been with us twice during Spring Break. We don't mind crowds, so neither trip was really that bad. We would definitely go back at Spring Break, in fact we've been twice. We would also take DS with us around xmas too. The only really bad crowd day was NYE at Epcot, even the 30th at MK wasn't terrible. We stayed at Beach Club and could easily walk to the hotel during the day. I think that helps a lot, even if it requires a split stay. I don't know if I would have liked the traffic mess on NYE. We usually rent a car but decided it wasn't worth it for the NYE trip. It's all about managing expectations.

Depending upon when Easter is, I think it would be warmer than xmas, maybe into the high 80s/low 90s with decent humidity. We did have one day when it was in the 40s at night on 12/30, but generally, it was really beautiful. It has been warmer when we have been during March. I think crowds will be bad no matter when you go. Flower & Garden Festival will still be going during Easter. You might be able to hit an xmas party around xmas, and the parks will be decorated for the holidays. I would just go for it. Have a good plan, use rope drop, takes breaks back at the hotel, except for NYE at MK, consider doing a tour like Behind the Seeds to get away from the crowds, have at least 1 ADR every day, be patient, and go with the flow:)
