Easter Mass Services in WDW

I have a friend that will be in Disney on Easter Sunday. She would like to know where in WDW they have Easter Sunday Mass for Roman Catholics. It has to be on Disney property since they will not have a car.

They don't anymore. She can take a cab to Mary Queen of the Universe Shrine. I'd plan on the cab costing in the $20 each way range, plus tip. It could be a bit more or less, depending on where they are staying on property and traffic conditions.

I'm not sure, but I have read that they offered Catholic Mass at the Contemporary for Christmas, was hoping Easter would be the same. They have stoped the weekly masses at the Poly.

They had mass last year at Easter at the Contemporary Ballroom. Also had it at Christmas - same place. Usually have about two different services. Call the hotel to find out for sure.

The Shrine is located not far from DD (next the Premium Outlet Center). The Shrine exists solely to serve the tourists of Orlando and grew out of the ministry that had the priest, Father Harte, saying Mass in hotels. They also did the Masses at the Poly and at the Contemporary. They ceased the regular Masses last year but did hold Easter and Christmas masses. However, the web site now reads as if there will be no more masses at WDW and gives an explanation. The mass at the shrine is wonderful.

I was told last year that although they were discontinuing the Sunday Masses at the Polynesian that they would have Catholic Masses at both Christmas and Easter. As someone else suggested, either call your hotel or guest services (you can e-mail them via the Disneyworld.com site).
