Easter Impact

Will the early Easter in 2008 have any impact on the April crowds? Will Easter weekend in March still be really busy? Any opinions??

I know the schools in our area (NY) are not giving much vacation during Easter week. We only have off Friday and Monday. They are giving April 11 - 18 instead and calling it Spring Break. Not sure what other areas are doing, but it might cut down on Easter travel a little.

We'll be there March 19 - March 31. Our district ALWAYS gave the kids the week before Easter off, this year due to the early holiday, we're getting the week after off. Hopefully, the early holiday will help, but I doubt it. We've been the past 2 years at Easter and it was always MOBBED! So, it will take a lot to lessen the crowds any.

I live in Southern NH and my town has no time off around Easter. We have a week in February (last week - leading into March) and the last week/first week in April/May. I blew our chances for February (too late for SW) so I'm hoping to butter DH up for April vacation! LOL
