..... I have been looking at the Easter eggs and they seem to be far more imaginative this year..... I like the different Harry Potter eggs - you can buy different styles e.g. Gringotts Bank or Madam Malkins.... I saw another but can't remember the name.

There seems to be more variety this year...... any that you particularly like? ( to buy or eat :) !!)

I was looking at them today too Shirley and cant believe the choice!

I dont have to buy that many - just for my nieces and nephews, 8 in total, so usually get the ones about £3 - this year I'll have to phone and find out what they are all 'into' to get the right ones! LOL

What are you guys talking about? Are these candy eggs? Do you have a picture?

Thanks Loftus, I appreciate the explanation. Those are neat, we have similiar eggs. I purchased one of these sugar eggs for DS this year. I think they're kinda neat too.

That is neat. Would be wasted on my kids - it would be demolished before they had stopped to appreciate it..
I think I'd rather frame it than eat it!

Shirley, where did you see those Harry Potter Easter Eggs? I have just bought DD1's eggs yesterday.
DD2 is really into Mr Potter and I would love to get her one. Thank you.

Not an egg as such, but with the Easter eggs in TESCOs are some very nice buckets of hollow chocolate hearts. The buckets are decorated with Disney princesses. I bought one for DD.

Hi Michelle - I saw ( and bought one) in Tesco. Our nearby store is fairly large - you usually need to go to one of the bigger stores for more choice.
They do keep selling out of the Madam Malkins box - the one I bought for my younger son - each box has different sweets in apart from the chocolate egg and I chose the one he'd like best.

Thanks Shirley,

I was at Tesco's Extra the other day and I didnt notice them. I suppose another look wont harm me!!;)

I haven't bought any yet, but I really should start looking to see the choices.

I have some really strange requirements in an egg for myself. I think the extra choccies should be inside the egg, the ones with just a couple of bars of chocolate in the box seem like cheating to me. And, I particularly like ones with 'real chocolates' even since I was about 9 or 10 I would request one with grown up chocolates inside the egg.
I think Milk Tray used to come like that, but lot anymore, now it tends to be a seperate tray outside the egg.

Quite agree Bev :) !

However, I also like the idea of the Crunchie and Fruit 'n Nut eggs this year - the chocolate eggs shells themselves have Crunchie and Fruit 'n Nut in them.

I can't have one - sob as i am now into week 2 of Atkins Diet
Never mind at least i've lost 11lbs
